PAPERS SILENT OVER AL-QAEDA TORTURE HOUSE

Yet Top Media Ran More Than 6,000 Stories on Abu Ghraib Abuses
 

ALEXANDRIA, VA—The U.S. Defense Department released photos last week of an al-Qaeda torture chamber in Iraq, which showed various torture tools—blow torches, meat cleavers, hammers, drills, metal files—drawings of torture methods, and photos of actual victims found in another house in Karmah who had been burned, mutilated, and tortured in myriad ways.

To their credit, CNN and Fox News Channel ran stories on the declassified material. Yet nine days since the material was released, neither ABC, CBS, NBC, The New York Times nor The Washington Post has run a story with the photos of this shocking evidence of al-Qaeda’s barbarism.

Concerning the top media’s silence on the al-Qaeda torture chamber in Iraq, MRC President Brent Bozell issued the following statement:

“The elite media’s liberal bias is abundantly clear in this case. U.S. soldiers raided several al-Qaeda safe houses in Iraq and discovered stacks of evidence about how al-Qaeda tortures its victims. The tools, the drawings, and the photos are gruesome and clearly show what type of enemy the U.S. is facing.

“Yet most of the liberal media are deliberately silent. This is the same self-righteous liberal media that ran more than 6,000 stories and countless photos of Abu Ghraib and the abuse of prisoners there by several U.S. soldiers. Where are they now? Why will they not show the American people what al-Qaeda is actually doing in Iraq right now? Whose side are they on?

“Al-Qaeda’s crimes are a thousand-fold more brutal than anything done by any derelict U.S. soldier. Yet it’s obvious now that the liberal media want to focus on U.S. misdeeds, and alleged misdeeds, and theoretical misdeeds instead of giving the truth to the American people.”

The official press coverage went like this:

A boat crossing a river in Afghanistan's most dangerous province sank on Saturday, and at least 60 people were killed, including Taliban militants, the Defense Ministry said. The boat sank while crossing the Helmand River, which snakes through Helmand province, the world's leading opium poppy region and site of fierce battles the last several months. Hundreds of Taliban insurgents are believed to be in Helmand. The Afghan army was investigating to see how many Taliban insurgents were on board, the ministry said.

The unofficial international observations went more like this:

A Taliban spokesman insists that its naval forces are up to task despite the set-back of losing 1 ship and 60 of its crew! Apparently their commander-in-chief, Osama Bin Laden, does not believe in wasting time and money on swimming training since they only trained to be cannon fodder. International compassion groups are requesting donations of more suicide boats without holes. Sean Penn is rumored to be rushing to the scene to personally demonstrate what happens when brainless idiots get in over their heads.The ACLU is already preparing a lawsuit against the boat manufacturer for selling the boat to people who have no clue as to what they are doing. Since original reports indicated that the boat was filled with trial lawyers, a number of huge rallies in every major American city had to be quickly dispersed and thousands of donated boats had to be returned to their original owners. It is rumored that an all new Taliban navy boats will have glass bottoms so they see what they are hitting. Congress recycles more waste than anybody and this new immigration bill is just another example. The Democrats want the illegal immigrant vote, the GOP and the Chamber of Congress want cheap labor. But, all of the politicians want a huge and growing base of new young workers (immigrants) who will contribute into the Social Security fund that will be totally drained by the growing population of older folks and therefore help replace the projected shortfall of contributions from the existing and shrinking (comparatively) size of the younger population. All of the politicians have learned that none of the American people can agree on how best to reform social security, because the younger Americans and the older Americans have horribly mutually exclusive goals. So, in one fashion, the invasion of  illegal immigrants solves Mexico's poverty problem and perhaps the social security problem. But, that is not true because there aren't ever going to be enough people in the world to permanently solve the Ponzi scheme structure of the social security problem concept.

Note that the politicians are touting Immigration Reform, not Immigration Control. The meaning of the word "control" is self-evident, but the meaning of the word "reform" is really only in the mind of the beholder...and when the beholder is comprised of the established Capitol Hill Gang-watch out! And when the Capitol Hill Gang is also comprised of both liberals and conservatives-hold onto your wallet! And when nobody in Washington is against it, it most certainly isn't in the best of anyone except the Beltway Bunch. You don't have to know what it is about, all you have to know is, who is for it and who is against it.

The reason that the sleeping giant known as the American voter base has started roaring its disgust and displeasure into every ear connected to the Beltway Bunch is because most of us are very much aware of what can happen with open boarders. We have learned how easy it still is for others like the 9/11 hijackers to sneak in and out of our country. We have watched Europe on the verge of losing their cultures to growing tide of Muslims who show no signs of even wanting to assimilate into the European culture. We also see a growing trend of Muslims world-wide expousing hatred toward non-Muslims and striving to defy existing sovereignties and laws to further their apparent intent to take over the world. We have watched the Muslim world for half a century continue to deny the right of existence of Israel and the continuous attacks on its people. On a daily basis, we see the radical Muslims attempting to destroy everything that is non-Muslim. The American way is to love thy neighbor and enjoy life together; it is not the American way to accept being forced to convert to Islam.   It doesn't take a rocket scientist to recognize that we never had everything covered with grafiti until we became flooded with too many people from another culture. And recent events have convinced us that border security and absolute knowledge of and control over every person entering our country is something that should have been cured on September 12, 2001.

Yes, the American people are beginning to wake up to fact that the Beltway Bunch is attempting to fleece the American public once again. It more or less started with the income tax. And now at a cost to this country estimated by the Heritage Foundation at over $1,000,000 per illegal immigrant's lifetime here, the Beltway Bunch wants us to accept amnesty for millions of these illegal invaders. How many million at over $1 million apiece? in 1986 just less than 3 Million Illegal's were granted an Amnesty (US citizenship); they each brought up on average 5 more family members who also instantly became US citizens, so 3 million X 5 = 15 million + the original 3 mil = 18 million. Now consider probably 20 million that have come up since; granted Amnesty, and hauling up 5 more each: 100 million + that 20 = 120,000,000. Now consider where they fall economically? At the bottom, unlike legal immigration where we now expect something of value, these "Immigrants" bring nothing but 3 grade educations and the trappings of a failed culture. Hey -- would France be interested? The 12 million figure was just someone's guess, other estimates go as high 50-55 million. In other words, we will all soon be outnumbered and out voted. Trust me, these folks won't be voting for those old white guys in the Beltway Bunch, they will be voting for the young radical hispanics that are already beginning to show their disdain for our culture.
